We had a pretty good weekend for the 54th Annual Riviera Open. Saturday was a beautiful day, however, the weatherman was completely wrong with his forecast for Sunday. We woke to overcast skies, cooler temperatures and winds swirling the flags on the course....and the scores showed it.
Saturday's leaders were Charlie Delsman from Colgate, WI and Parker Hewitt from Westfield Center, OH. They turned in rounds of 63, 8 under par. Charlie was able to hold on with a 68 on Sunday to win by 2 shots over Ross Beal and 2013 champion Eric Cole.
